About Us

At Sage Creamery, we craft our Hawai’i-inspired ice creams with high quality organic + locally sourced ingredients, including vanilla beans from Lāʻie Vanilla Company, chocolate chips from Mānoa Chocolate in Kailua, and kiawe honey from Mānoa Honey & Mead in Wahiawā, among others.

We named our business in honor of our late brother, Daniel, who we refer to as our “Sage”. An aspiring entrepreneur himself, It was his life + death that ultimately led us on this journey called Sage Creamery.

We started this business at the beginning of the 2020 pandemic. Selling ice cream on Instagram, making home deliveries during the lockdowns. We later expanded to local farmers markets, eventually rolling out our very own mobile ice cream truck. We most recently opened our first brick & mortar scoop shop and café located in the new development of Hoʻopili in West O'ahu.

It’s our hope to bring to Hawaii what ice cream can be, in its purest and most delicious form.

Mahalo for your continued support of this local-made, native-Hawaiian + veteran-owned small business!

The Story of the Sage

He had made it his mission to search for the answers to lifeʻs greatest questions.

His search brought him on a journey to unfamiliar lands across the ocean, through the Amazon jungle, and to the depths of his own mind.

Along the way, he sought to enrich his family & community, sharing his love of food, music, and culture.

His desire for fulfillment pushed him to experience things many wouldn’t dare. And amounted to a life full of discovery, love, and wonder.

When his time came, the Sage could look back on a life well-lived; the ride of a lifetime.

A ride so inspiring, it touched all those he knew to live their lives in the same way; leading with kindness, curiousity, and passion.

The story of the Sage is one of authenticity, triumph, and the ultimate wisdom.

It’s a story that few have heard - but one that must be told. We are here today because of the Sage.
